Rental Resort Vacation Home in Loreto Bay, Mexico—Fishing, Golf, Tennis, Beach, Snorkeling, Scuba Diving, Whale Watching & Relaxing
My home (casa) in Loreto Bay is part of an upscale sustainable development located along the beautiful Sea of Cortez. The casa has two floors. The lower floor contains the kitchen, dining room, living room, bathroom as well as a bedroom with a king bed. The couch in the living room folds out to provide a bed for another guest or two. The bathroom features two hand-painted sinks, a walk-in shower, oversized tub and toilet. Inside the entryway on the lower floor is a garden featuring a small fountain open to the sky. The second floor contains another master bedroom with a king bed and bathroom with all of the same amenities as the lower floor. Outside the upstairs master suite is a patio with views of the ocean, the mountains and an amazing night sky. It is the perfect place to enjoy a refreshing margarita, a bottle of wine and the view! You’ll also find a gas grill on the patio for cooking up your favorite meats and vegetables. A washer and dryer are available in the casa should you need to do laundry. Check out the photo gallery to see photos of the casa, the Loreto Bay neighborhood and the town of Loreto!
From the front door of the casa to the edge of the beach is only 110 paces! Yes, you are that close to the beach! Water’s edge is around 360 feet away depending on the tide level. Below is a bird’s eye view of the resort area. A red circle (near center of photo) shows the approximate location of my home.
If you enjoy fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, scuba diving, whale watching or the sea life in general; you’ll love spending time in Loreto! Within the Loreto Bay neighborhood is a championship golf course (approximately 1/3 mile from casa to clubhouse), tennis center, several restaurants/bars and stores with food and other supplies.
Location: Loreto BCS, Mexico
Loreto Bay is four miles from Loreto International Airport (LTO airport code) and less than ten miles from the town of Loreto. — This casa is situated within a 5 minute walking distance of the Loreto Baja Resort and its 2 pools, water related amenities including kayaks, windsurfers, snorkel gear, daily Palapa usage and tennis club (includes eight lighted courts). It is also a short walk to several restaurants in the community. My home is about 100 yards from the beach and the Sea of Cortez with its designation as a national marine park. A lap pool is in my neighborhood and is around 100 feet from the front door of my home. A 18 hole Troon operated championship golf course is interwoven through my Loreto Bay community. The Town of Loreto is about 10 minutes away by car and is a beautiful Mexican gem. It was founded in 1697 and was the capital of the Californias.
